Flatm8 relies on honest, constructive feedback from tenants. This policy sets out the rules for writing reviews and how we moderate content.

1. Writing a Review

When writing a review, please:

• Be Honest: Share your genuine experience.
• Be Specific: Details help others understand the situation.
• Be Fair: Focus on the property and the tenancy, not personal attacks.

2. Prohibited Content

We will remove reviews that contain:

• Hate Speech: Discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability.
• Harassment: Threats, bullying, or doxxing (revealing private personal information).
• Illegal Content: Promotion of illegal acts.
• Spam: Promotional content or fake reviews.
• Irrelevance: Content unrelated to the tenancy or property.

3. Moderation Process

• Automated Checks: We use tools to screen for spam and offensive language.
• User Reporting: You can report any review that violates this policy.
• Human Review: Reported content is reviewed by our team. We aim to make fair, consistent decisions.

4. Public Interest & Research

Aggregated insights from reviews may be used for public-interest research to improve housing policy. By contributing, you are helping to build a better rental sector for everyone.
